The Tracy Fire Department softball team was originated in 2002.  We started off by trying our skills at league play in town, and we weren’t too bad.  The team decided to take it to the next level, the Firefighter Olympics.  Not knowing what to expect, we went 0-5.  From that point on the team decided to take our play a little more serious.  Every year we’ve improved dramatically.

Through firefighters leaving to other departments, injuries, adding new faces to the team, we’ve always persevered.  Currently we are over .500 in Olympic play, with one gold medal, one silver medal, and consistently are in the top six in the state.  We currently have 13 members of the department on the team roster.
