The events of September 11, 2001 are etched into the minds of our nation and each American as we recall the heinous attack on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and United Airlines Flight 93. As emergency responders and citizens of this great nation, we have a responsibility and a duty to remember the sacrifice made by so many that day. In addition to our 343 brothers and sisters from FDNY, we also remember our brothers and sisters in blue and the countless citizens that paid the ultimate price for freedom.
